The spicy notes are immediately distinctive from the fragrances opening: cloves and pepper, with juicy peach to temper them. The heart features an accord curiously reminiscent of Turkish delight, with the scent of roses joined by jasmine, saffron and violet. Finally, the titular oud, or agarwood, forms the rich woody foundation of the perfume along with cedar, sandalwood and gurjan balsam.
